Invitation to the International Conference GEOS 2008,

to be held at the same time as

3^rd International Fair of Geodesy, Cartography, Navigation and Geoinformatics and immediately before the General Assembly Meeting of the Council of European Geodetic Surveyors (CLGE) that will be held at the same place in the following two days

Conditions of participation

1.       An attendant at the conference commits his definitive participation decision by sending his registration. One registration form may include more participants.

2.       Participation fee for attendants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, developing and former socialistic countries is 65€ (or 1 700,-Kč) per a participant, for attendants from other countries it is 130€ (or 3 400,-Kč) per a participant. In the case of payment in cash at the registration desk it is   80€ (or 2 000,-Kč); or 150€ (or 3 900,-Kč). Lecturers participate at the conference at 30% discount, if more lecturers of one report exist, only one of them may use the 30% discount. Students that can prove their identity by student card participate at the conference free of charge, however they are not entitled to receive materials, refreshment (including lunch) or to attend the social evening party. If interested, students may purchase conference proceedings at the price of 150Kč. All numbers include VAT. The fee is settled as a contract fee (in accordance with §2 of the Law No. 526/1990 Coll., On Prices, as amended). Should you register for one day only you pay a half of the above mentioned fees.

instructions for the participants

1.       The conference will be held in Prague 1, Old Town district, Novotného lávka No.200/5 from 27^th to 28^th February, 2008. Please register at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the daily conference programme. The conference will start on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. (on Thursday at 9:00 a.m.) and is expected to close up on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.

2.       Please send your binding registration by 25^th February 2008, at latest. You may register either on http://www.vugtk.cz/geos/2008/reg_form_aj.php or on e-mail address geos@vugtk.cz.

3.       Please pay your participation fee by money transfer at the Komerční banka Praha 8, Account No. 4135201/0100 (as variable symbol use your identification number), IBAN: CZ 69 0100 0000 0000 0413 5201, SWIFT code: KOMBCZPPXXX, VAT: CZ00025615, by post money order or pay in cash at the venue of the conference. No matter how you pay your fee always please register in advance. Our identification number (IČO) is 00025615, our tax identification number (DIČ) is CZ00025615.

4.       We do not repay the registration fee if the participant (or his alternate) is not present.
